Seev Business API

Payment Channels

The payment methods available across Seev's checkout, onramp, and offramp flows.

Seev supports multiple payment channels across three flows: Checkout (receiving payments from customers), Onramp (converting fiat to crypto), and Offramp (converting crypto back to fiat via wallet). Each flow has its own set of supported channels.

Checkout

Checkout channels are available when a customer is paying for a product or service. Seev presents the enabled channels on the hosted payment page and the inline checkout widget.

Mobile Money

Customers pay directly from their mobile money wallet using a USSD prompt or app confirmation. No card or bank account is required.

The customer enters their registered mobile number, receives a push prompt or USSD code on their phone, and approves the payment. Funds are settled in real time.

Onramp

Onramp lets customers convert fiat currency into crypto using the same payment channels as checkout. This is useful for platforms that want to let users fund a crypto wallet or buy digital assets using local payment methods.

Supported onramp channels mirror checkout exactly:

  • Mobile Money — MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, Airtel Money
  • Card — Visa, Mastercard, Verve
  • Bank Transfer — GhIPSS, NIP
  • Crypto — Pay with one crypto asset to receive another (cross-asset swap)

The customer selects their preferred fiat payment method, pays, and receives the equivalent crypto amount to their specified wallet address. Exchange rates are locked at the time of payment initiation.

Offramp

Offramp lets users convert crypto holdings back to local fiat currency. The payout destination is a connected wallet — either a mobile money wallet or a bank account, depending on the user's country.

Wallet Connect

Users connect their crypto wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet), select the asset and amount to convert, and Seev disburses the equivalent fiat to their registered mobile money or bank account.

Fiat payout is delivered to the user's verified mobile money wallet or linked bank account within minutes of the on-chain transaction being confirmed.

Offramp availability depends on the user's country and verified account status. Users must complete identity verification before initiating an offramp.
