Organizations

Organizations

Create and switch between business workspaces, and keep each one's money, records, and access separate.

An organization is the workspace that owns business activity in Seev Plus. Stores, products, orders, invoices, payment links, customers, balances, payout settings, verification, API resources, and the transaction PIN all belong to one organization.

Your Seev login is personal and can belong to several organizations. Those organizations share nothing but you.

Decide whether you need another organization

Create another organization when you run a genuinely separate business, brand, legal entity, or team that needs its own money, verification, customers, and reporting.

Do not create one to work around a problem. A missing record, a forgotten PIN, a rejected verification, or a page that will not load are all fixed in the organization that has the problem. A new organization starts with no balances, no verification, no PIN, and no records, so it cannot recover anything from the old one.

Create an organization

  1. Open the organization selector at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Select Add new organization.
  3. Enter the organization name your team will recognize.
  4. Select Create organization.
  5. Confirm the new name is the one selected before you add any data.
FieldTypeRequiredDescription
Organization nameTextYesThe name your team recognizes. Create organization stays disabled while it is blank or only whitespace. Seev does not fall back to your personal name or email.

This is not the name customers see. That is set separately and goes through review. See Settings.

Switch organizations safely

Open the selector and choose a workspace. Seev reloads that organization's balances, activity, stores, invoices, payment links, customers, settings, verification, developer tools, and PIN status together. The currently selected organization cannot be selected again, and the selector is disabled while a switch is in progress.

Check the active organization before any of these:

  • Creating an invoice, payment link, store, or API key
  • Uploading products or changing stock
  • Moving money or saving a payout destination
  • Setting or entering a transaction PIN
  • Completing verification

If a page looks unexpectedly empty, check the active organization before recreating anything. Recreating a record that already exists in another workspace leaves you with two, and in the case of a payment request, two ways for a customer to pay.

Read the verification banner

A banner sits at the top of the dashboard while the organization is not yet approved. Its wording tells you whether you are waiting or need to act.

BannerMeaningAction offered
Verify your organization to accept paymentsVerification has not been submitted. You can keep building stores, invoices, payment links, and API tools, but checkout links and live payments need approval.Complete profile
Verification submitted for reviewThe details are with the review team. Payment tools unlock on approval.View status
Verification needs your attentionThe review did not approve the organization. The banner carries the reviewer's note when one was left.Review and resubmit

The banner can be dismissed, which hides the reminder without changing anything about the organization's state. See Organization Verification.

Know what stays separate

Each organization holds its own verification record and its own approval. Approval in one unlocks nothing in another.

Each also has its own balances, activity, payout settings, and transaction PIN. Switching organizations changes all of them at once, which is why a PIN that worked a moment ago can stop working after a switch.

Roles and permissions are also per organization. The same person can be an owner in one and a limited member in another. See Team Access for roles, custom roles, and the permission keys behind them.

Troubleshooting

Why is a new organization empty?

Nothing is copied between organizations. An empty new workspace is working correctly.

Why can one organization accept payments when another cannot?

Their verification records are separate and are probably in different states. Check the banner on the organization that cannot.

Why does my PIN work in one organization only?

The transaction PIN belongs to the organization, not to you. This is deliberate, so that access to one workspace's funds does not extend to another's. See Transaction PIN.

Why has a sidebar item disappeared after switching?

Navigation is filtered by the permissions you hold in the organization you switched into, and two items have extra conditions: Cards appears only for organizations verified as a business, and Yield stays hidden until a yield account exists. See Team Access.

What happens when a teammate leaves?

Remove their membership. The organization keeps every business record. Rotate anything they knew, such as API keys, and change the transaction PIN if they had it.
