Transaction PIN

A transaction PIN is a four-digit confirmation code for sensitive money and card actions. It is separate from your password and belongs to the active organization.

One organization having a PIN does not mean another organization has one.

When Seev asks for a PIN

The PIN can be required for:

• Wallet withdrawals and transfers
• Bank and mobile-money payouts
• Card funding, freezing, unfreezing, or viewing protected details
• Yield deposits and withdrawals
• Other sensitive balance movements

Set a PIN

1. Start an action that requires confirmation or use the PIN setup prompt on the Dashboard.
2. Enter a four-digit PIN.
3. Re-enter the same PIN to confirm it.
4. Complete setup.

The digits are masked while you type. Choose a code that teammates and customers cannot guess.

Use a PIN

When prompted, enter the PIN for the organization currently shown in the sidebar. Seev verifies it before continuing the sensitive action.

If you recently switched organizations, the previous organization's PIN will not work.

Change a PIN

Changing a PIN requires:

1. The current PIN
2. A new four-digit PIN
3. Confirmation of the new PIN

After changing it, use the new PIN for future actions in that organization.

PIN safety

• Do not use 0000, 1111, a birth year, or another obvious sequence.
• Do not share the PIN in chat, email, screenshots, or team documentation.
• Give teammates individual Seev memberships instead of sharing credentials.
• A Seev employee should never ask you to send the PIN.

If the PIN is rejected

1. Confirm the active organization.
2. Make sure you are entering the transaction PIN, not a card PIN or login password.
3. Check whether the PIN was recently changed.
4. Avoid repeated guesses.
5. Use the available recovery flow if the current PIN cannot be verified.

Creating another organization will not recover access to the original organization's funds.
